Passion Popsicles

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of water
  • 2 hibiscus tea bags (I use Tazo Passion caffeine-free
  • tea)
  • 6 fresh mint leaves
  • 2 cups of frozen organic berries (strawberry, blueberry, blackberry blend)
  • 3 pitted medjool dates
  • Juice from 1 lime

Additional Items need

  • 10 freeze popsicle bags
  • Small funnel

Method

Preparing the Passion Popsicles

Bring 2 cups of water to a boil.

  • Pour water over the tea bags in a heat-safe bowl
  • Add fresh mint leaves to tea and let brew for 10-15
    minutes

In the base of a blender

Add berries, pitted dates, and lime juice to a blender

When tea is finished brewing, carefully remove tea bags. Pour the tea and mint leaves into the blender and apply the lid

Blend the mixture starting on the lowest setting and gradually increasing the speed until a smooth texture is achieved.

**Optional**
Pour blended mixture into a large measuring bowl with spout and handle or keep in the blender

Final Step

Open the end of the popsicle bag, place the funnel in the open end, pour blended mixture into the popsicle bag until it reaches the fill line. Then, seal the popsicle bag and repeat until the mixture is
gone. Makes approximately 10-12 popsicles

Place in Freezer

Place popsicles in the freezer in a vertical position. Freeze for 3-4 hours or until completely frozen.
